Official recruitment portals in Ghana: government job links we opened, and fake ones to avoid
A list of the official Ghanaian recruitment pages we opened ourselves on 2 November 2026, with what each one showed. We print no link we could not open.

These are the official recruitment pages we opened on 2 November 2026, with what each one said that day. We couldn't find a recruitment portal on the sites of the Ministry of Health, the Ghana Health Service or the Ghana Education Service, so we print no such link. A portal link in a chat group is a warning sign until you've found it on the body's own site. workghana.net isn't the government, and we don't take applications.
Public service and security services
- Public Services Commission, job vacancies page: open. We saw no vacancy in the text of the page that day. The Commission says it charges no application or processing fee and authorises nobody to recruit for it.
- Ghana Armed Forces, apply.mil.gh: open. It takes applications with a GHS 200 e-voucher from designated post offices, when an intake is on. It says there are no authorised middlemen.
- C-SERP, cserpgh.com, for the Police, Prisons, Fire and Immigration: open, still showing the 2025/26 requirements. We can't confirm a new exercise, so call the Ministry of the Interior on +233 302 684 421 first.
- National Service portal, posting.gnsa.gov.gh: open, and it's the address the services page on gnsa.gov.gh links to for PIN checks, postings and registration.
- Youth Employment Agency, yea.gov.gh: open. It links to a job centre portal, a beneficiary portal and a Work Abroad portal.
Public bodies that post their own jobs
- Bank of Ghana: open, and it said there are currently no job openings.
- SSNIT: open, and it said there is currently no open vacancy.
- National Identification Authority: open, and it said the Authority is currently not recruiting.
- GNPC: applications go to [email protected]. It warns that it will never ask applicants for money, and that its recruitment email only comes from @gnpcghana.com addresses.
- Minerals Commission: an e-recruitment page on its own site, with filters for internship and National Service. We saw no listing in the text of the page that day.
- Petroleum Commission: a database that upstream companies can search for CVs. Being on it isn't the same as applying for a vacancy.
- Ghana Revenue Authority: a careers page with a scam alert. It says no payment is required for recruitment and no forms are sold.
What about GES, the Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Health?
People search for these every day, so here's what we found. We opened ges.gov.gh, ghs.gov.gh and moh.gov.gh, and we found no recruitment page we could open. The address ghs.gov.gh/careers gave a page not found error.
The press reports health recruitment, and portal links do circulate, but we couldn't tie any address to an official page. So we won't print one. If you're a nurse or a teacher, ask your training school, your regional office or the body's own published number for the real route. Never pay anyone who sends you a link and says the portal is closing today.
How do I tell a real portal from a fake one?
Start on the body's own website and find the link from there. Government sites in Ghana usually end in .gov.gh, but not always. The Armed Forces uses mil.gh, for example, and C-SERP is on a plain .com, which is why we say to phone first.
The Minerals Commission warned about a recruitment link on an outside address that had nothing to do with it, and it told the public to treat any request through it for personal details or payment as fraud. The Public Services Commission has warned about fake adverts in the same way. The Cyber Security Authority takes reports on 292, by call or text, at any hour.
What does a police report for a job cost?
An employer may ask you for police clearance. The Ghana Police Service's fee page lists these amounts. They're paid to the police, not to a go-between.
- Ordinary vetting for residents: GHS 150, with two passport pictures on a red background.
- Employment vetting, with a fingerprint request on CID Form 59: GHS 100.
- Authentication of a police clearance: GHS 50.
- Vetting for non-residents: GHS 2,000.
Keep your applications straight
If you apply on more than one portal, write down the date, your reference number and the official link you used. It helps you check any message that comes later, because you'll know whether you really applied. Applying for a job is free, apart from the published voucher on the portals named here, and nobody should pay a person to get one.

Frequently asked questions
What is the official Ghana Health Service recruitment portal?
We couldn't confirm one on 2 November 2026, so we don't print an address. Treat a link from a chat group with care until you've confirmed it with the Service or the Ministry of Health.
Is cserpgh.com official?
It's the portal that carries the 2025/26 security services requirements. It says it's powered by a private company, and we found no link to it on the home page of the Ministry of the Interior's site. Before paying for a voucher, call the Ministry of the Interior to confirm that an exercise is open.
How do I check my National Service posting?
Use posting.gnsa.gov.gh, the portal linked from the National Service site. Have your index number ready, and don't give your PIN to an agent.
Will you add more links?
Yes, once we've opened them on the official site. The date at the top of this page shows when we last changed the list.
